Descrição:: [ES] El yacimiento de Devesa do Rei fue descubierto y excavado en 2001 por un equipo del Laboratorio de Arqueología del Instituto de Estudios Gallegos Padre Sarmiento, como resultado de las pruebas arqueológicas llevadas a cabo durante la construcción de la autopista Santiago - Alto de Santo Domingo. Presentamos los resultados del estudio efectuado en las cerámicas encontradas en este yacimiento de la Edad del Bronce. Se ha hecho un análisis formal y contextual de las cerámicas, notando la presencia de cerámica campaniforme y lisa, así como otros tipos con decoración que difiere de la tradición campaniforme, con incisión e impresión. Es un importante hallazgo ya que es el primer yacimiento de cerámica campaniforme localizado en Galicia y uno de los pocos en la Península Ibérica, que tiene abundante cerámica no campaniforme decorada con características formales similares a aquellas encontradas en otras regiones del Atlántico europeo.; [EN] The Devesa do Rei site was discovered and excavated in 2001 by a team from the Archaeology Laboratory of the Padre Sarmiento Institute of Galician Studies, as a result of archaeological tests carried out during construction of the Santiago - Alto de Santo Dominto motorway. We present the results of the study carried out on the ceramics found in this Bronze Age site. A formal and contextual analysis of the ceramics is made, noting the presence of bell-beaker and undecorated pottery, as well as other types with decoration that differs from the bell-beaker tradition, with incision and impression. It is an important location as it is the first bell-beaker site found in Galicia, and one of the few in the Iberian Peninsula, which has an abundance of decorated non-bell beaker pottery with formal characteristics similar to those found in other Atlantic European regions.; Peer reviewed

Presentamos los resultados del estudio efectuado en las cerámicas encontradas en este yacimiento de la Edad del Bronce. Se ha hecho un análisis formal y contextual de las cerámicas, notando la presencia de cerámica campaniforme y lisa, así como otros tipos con decoración que difiere de la tradición campaniforme, con incisión e impresión. Es un importante hallazgo ya que es el primer yacimiento de cerámica campaniforme localizado en Galicia y uno de los pocos en la Península Ibérica, que tiene abundante cerámica no campaniforme decorada con características formales similares a aquellas encontradas en otras regiones del Atlántico europeo. </ subfield >

  1. < subfield code =" a " > [EN] The Devesa do Rei site was discovered and excavated in 2001 by a team from the Archaeology Laboratory of the Padre Sarmiento Institute of Galician Studies, as a result of archaeological tests carried out during construction of the Santiago - Alto de Santo Dominto motorway. We present the results of the study carried out on the ceramics found in this Bronze Age site. A formal and contextual analysis of the ceramics is made, noting the presence of bell-beaker and undecorated pottery, as well as other types with decoration that differs from the bell-beaker tradition, with incision and impression. It is an important location as it is the first bell-beaker site found in Galicia, and one of the few in the Iberian Peninsula, which has an abundance of decorated non-bell beaker pottery with formal characteristics similar to those found in other Atlantic European regions. </ subfield >

11. < mods:abstract > [ES] El yacimiento de Devesa do Rei fue descubierto y excavado en 2001 por un equipo del Laboratorio de Arqueología del Instituto de Estudios Gallegos Padre Sarmiento, como resultado de las pruebas arqueológicas llevadas a cabo durante la construcción de la autopista Santiago - Alto de Santo Domingo. Presentamos los resultados del estudio efectuado en las cerámicas encontradas en este yacimiento de la Edad del Bronce. Se ha hecho un análisis formal y contextual de las cerámicas, notando la presencia de cerámica campaniforme y lisa, así como otros tipos con decoración que difiere de la tradición campaniforme, con incisión e impresión. Es un importante hallazgo ya que es el primer yacimiento de cerámica campaniforme localizado en Galicia y uno de los pocos en la Península Ibérica, que tiene abundante cerámica no campaniforme decorada con características formales similares a aquellas encontradas en otras regiones del Atlántico europeo. </ mods:abstract >
12. < mods:abstract > [EN] The Devesa do Rei site was discovered and excavated in 2001 by a team from the Archaeology Laboratory of the Padre Sarmiento Institute of Galician Studies, as a result of archaeological tests carried out during construction of the Santiago - Alto de Santo Dominto motorway. We present the results of the study carried out on the ceramics found in this Bronze Age site. A formal and contextual analysis of the ceramics is made, noting the presence of bell-beaker and undecorated pottery, as well as other types with decoration that differs from the bell-beaker tradition, with incision and impression. It is an important location as it is the first bell-beaker site found in Galicia, and one of the few in the Iberian Peninsula, which has an abundance of decorated non-bell beaker pottery with formal characteristics similar to those found in other Atlantic European regions. </ mods:abstract >
